In Chicago, courts fill up on weekday evenings and weekend mornings, especially in spring and fall, so a reservation or an early start avoids the wait. Club memberships across Illinois range from a few hundred dollars a year at community swim-and-tennis clubs to initiation fees and monthly dues at full country clubs, and many clubs offer summer or trial memberships. Guests are usually welcome when accompanied by a member, and non-members can often book lessons, clinics or court time at commercial centers. Check the listing for surface, lighting, indoor courts, reservation rules and whether pickleball lines share the courts, then call ahead on holidays, when hours change.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 6 amโ11 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (312) 413-5260. Chicago is in Illinois, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. Getting around Chicago is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Illinois's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I pay tuition to go here and the staff told me while I could use one of the fitness rooms I was not allowed to use the equipment (dumbbells, exercise balls, etc) I asked why, theyโre there for a reason, and they said โitโs policyโ

Don't come here with your bike/scooter and don't lock it outside. They are the most careless. Even they have installed multiple cctv camera outside the door, I asked them if they can check my lost e-scooter (just outside of the door) but they told me they don't monitor anything outside or inside the campus. They didn't explain anything. This is ridiculous, and the matter of utmost irresponsibility. Date: Oct 14 2025 11:35 AM

DONโT COME HERE if youโre coming for the dance rooms. Staff told me I had to rent and pay for the room every time, even as a student who comes alone. Whatโs the point of paying for a >$50 membership if I canโt use the only facility I paid for? Makes no sense to me. I bought the membership ONLY for the dance room and to be told this news is extremely upsetting. Iโve been here multiple times by myself now and Iโve never heard of this. Asked front desk for clarification and they said I have to pay student org rental price for the rooms? Which doesnโt make sense because I am not a student org. He said he will talk to the managers about it but I would recommend to go to SCE on UICโs East Campus for dance rooms. Their dance rooms are open to membership holders if there are no events going on. Will not be returning again.

UIC Sports & Fitness Center is hands down one of the best gyms Iโve ever used. Itโs got everything you could ask for: top-tier equipment, a running track, racquetball courts, and even a pool. Iโve been using it for a few months now, and it's been well worth the membership fee (around $25/month for students). The staff is super chill, and the space is always clean and not overcrowded. I can get in a solid workout without feeling like Iโm fighting for machines. If youโre a UIC student or faculty member, this gym is a total win.

Great facility. Tons of machines, swimming pool and sauna. Racket ball court, basketball court, ping Pong room and they have special 360 functional workout room. They have several workout dance yoga cycling rooms too. This blow away many of the chain gyms
